
The national programme for the Mayflower 400 project was launched 0n 6 December at the House of Commons. Dartmouth is one of 11 destinations in UK taking part.
The Mayflower 400 commemoration programme in 2020 will comprise over 400 events and is anticipated to yield a significant £440m impact on the business turnover across the UK Mayflower Compact destinations.
The milestone in UK and US history is set to boost the UK economy and attract over 1.4 million visitors during the anniversary year, yielding an anticipated economic impact in excess of £80m across the Mayflower destinations.
