With the Regatta weekend finally upon us, it is important to note the environmentally conscious aspects to the event.
Battle Flags & Burgees
One way DM400 are committing to this is designing the burgee and battle flags using eco-friendly sustainable flag material.
Enviroflags are made completely from recycled plastic bottles, whilst still maintaining the great same print quality and durability as other flag materials.
With each square metre of EnviroFlag produced, uses between 10-12 plastic bottles so look out for our flags on the boats that not only look great, but minimise the impact on the planet.

Printed Signage
Furthermore, we are using Toughprint paper for our boat category signs. Not only is this paper 100% waterproof so can withstand outdoor use, but also it is so tough, there is no need to laminate! Once again, this reduces single-use plastic, minimising the impact on the planet.
Its durability means it can be wiped clean to maintain cleanliness and with its resistance to tearing and crumpling, be sure the category signs will remain clear throughout the day! Reduced paper use throughout this event ensures we minimise impacting on deforestation.
