The workshop for the build of the Mayflower Replica is nearly ready.
Jim Vandenbrouck of JV Carpentry & Joinery is giving his time free. He said “I just had to get involved. My father Billy watched the Mayflower II sail from Brixham in 1957 and took the whole family over to Massachusetts to visit the ship and the plantation. He was fascinated by the whole project. Now I am doing my bit to help deliver this replica model to add a permanent visitor attraction to Dartmouth and the whole area.”
