Gavin Coombes was presented with his own Mayflower model by Ian Kirkwood in thanks and recognition of his help building the DM400 replica model. He spent his last day in the workshop on 8 March and will leave Dartmouth after the weekend to start a new life in Malvern. Many of you will remember Gavin as the Senior Nurse in charge of Dartmouth Hospital. His help and sense of humour will be missed, as well as his taste in music. His final job was to cut the sub base for the main deck and laminate the waterway round the outside edge. We need help to replace him!
