Lots of local and visiting young families enjoyed the Mayflower Family Fun Day in Coronation Park on Sunday 30 July. The aim of the event was to raise awareness of the Mayflower 400 commemoration in Dartmouth for 2020 and raise some money towards our exciting projects.
The bouncy castle was particularly popular with the youngsters, being in constant use throughout the day. Other attractions included badminton, cricket, “Happy Hoppers”, other games, a colouring competition and a delicious cake stall. Our thanks to everyone who came to support us, helped, and provided equipment and a wonderful selection of cakes. Special thanks to Sue Manley, RNLI, Alan Depledge (Dartmouth Business Club), and Jon Walley. The weather was kinder than forecast, with only one heavy shower during the afternoon
