
The Dartmouth Mayflower 400 commemorations got of to a fine start on Saturday 30 November as the Mayflower Lantern ship was carried through the town by the Torrington Cavaliers as part of the Dartmouth Candlelit parade.
The parade ended at St Saviour’s church where the entertainment included songs from the Mock Hobby Horse Minstrels, ringing of the St Saviour’s bells and singing by a special choir directed by Christopher Helyer.
